New Website Live! (Blog Post Title)
Updated: May 27
We are now live in June 2020 with a new club website. Prominent to this site are more robust and up-to-date Site Briefings and (brand new) Emergency Action Plans for each of our flying locations. Blah blah blah, yada yada.
Left column toolbar
On the left you'll see a button called "Categories" that allows you to add a category for your article or news. I've created a few seed categories. Try not to make too many unnecessary categories. Fewer are better for navigation as the blog page grows over the months and years. You can use the check boxes to choose multiple categories for a single blog post if that applies. Under "Settings" you can choose to display a cover image for your post. Images are always helpful to engage readers, if you can find something that is relatively nice looking and large enough to appear sharp. Pick the author name. You can also create a short excerpt or teaser for what the article is about. Once sentence, two max.
You can have bulleted info:
Bullet one - pew!
Bullet two - pew pew!
Bullet three - pew pew pew!
Please keep a space between paragraphs as displayed here. Use headings for breaks in subject matter (makes it easier on the eyes).
Hashtag your posts
Love to #hashtag? Good news!
You can add tags (#safety #xc #thermals) throughout your posts to reach more people. Why hashtag? People can use your hashtags to search through content on your blog and find the content that matters to them.
At the bottom of this page you'll find a toolbar that will allow you to add photos (you don't have to have photos if you don't want). Please don't change the text size, typeface or color. The headers are larger than the body copy. Keep it that way. Keep paragraphs short for easy reading. The toolbar also allows you to add video content, links, files, a divider, and a gallery (for multiple photos).
