flew south mountain wednesday with charlie hiked up once after a simple flight.launched again wind was stonger and once away from hill it was definately more west than at launch.all turned out well and caught a ride from agrateful hg pilot.as avisiting pilot from alaska it was nice not to be wearing snow pants.thanks to charlie for the site orientation and guided dessert hiking tour.if anyone is heading to south mtn. on friday please call 907-250-4009 rick friday morning.i'm in apache junction leaving early sat morning.if not hope to meet you in the sky somewhere

I don't know if I'll be able to call you in the morning, but I'll be there at the towers probably around 1:30. Call me if you wanna stage/leave a car at the saddle.
