Hello gang,

Sorry but I don't know which of you are HG or PG. I'm interested in going to Oatman but I don't want to be the only PG out there. I don't mind flying with HG at all, since the last club I was in was mostly HG. What are peoples ideas about the conditions? Since I've never been to the location, I don't have any idea of what conditions will work well.

If I go, it will probably be leaving early Saturday morning and if enough people stay for Sunday, I will probably return on Sunday after flying. Where are people staying, if the stay overnight?

Willing to meet up someplace in-between and share a ride if anyone is interested.

Any info would be helpful

Thanks

Andy

pg here, so you wont be solo. Camping is in the LZ. Conditions look better saturday depending on what you look at, for a better prevailing wind. But it looks light until sunday, and from when I have flown when its LnV the south side produces some nice cycles up the ridge. Hoping for some nice glass off conditions also. But that just me being optimistic  If anything its a great excuse to get outta town for a few days

Camping?
is there a place to do some kitting if I can't fly?
Can I bring my dogs too?

Plenty of room for kitting in and around the LZ.

Dogs, think that would be fine.

Andy, its a North or South site.

Best is you have a south wind. Direct sun on the face and ridge lift. That will be the side you'll fly most likely. Launch is small and not very nice. Doable, but no Mingus.

Have fun guys. I'm heading for work in an hour. MOL status returns on Wensday! [-o<

Anyone want to share the ride?
