I Want Your WX Links

Postby Adam Bell » Wed Mar 10, 2010 9:27 am

I'd like to have good weather sources in each site page that are specific to that site and the general area as well as good overall weather info. I use many sources as I am sure many of you have your favorites and various methods of putting together your overall weather picture.

I will have a master list of weather sources so everyone can get to weather info with a single click from most anywhere on the site.

Please respond to this post with any of your favorite weather sources, things you often use that you think would be useful for others. I'll get them added to the site.

I use and have used xc skies since it started. It has become a very intense program in the last couple of months. However I don't think you can use it in a cumulative program. It has a fee (cheap per year) per person usage. Check out the tuterial (sic) on their web, xc skies.com :?:

And as I rise above the tree line and the clouds,
I look down,
hearing the sound of the things you said today.

TAFs for the whole state, click on the Soaring forecast link at the top for Flagstaff Soaring

Click onn Observations in the left hand column for a map of Az from PHX north, windtalkers. double click each spot for a 2 or 7 day history of that spot.

I use Prct and Flag to predict Apache Maid, Winslow and Flag to prdict the craters.

Tanner's Blog the best site for the Craters and northern Az.
